Natalie Wharton

Natalie is a highly accomplished integration and transformation leader who empowers business leaders to unlock maximum value from their strategic initiatives. With over two decades of consulting experience, she brings profound expertise in performance culture, leadership development, stakeholder engagement, and operating model transformation across diverse sectors.
Before founding WhartonBC, Natalie spearheaded significant change as the UK FSI Culture Change Lead and Digital Transformation Lead for Deloitte. Her insights are highly sought after; she’s a regular speaker for prestigious organizations including the FCA, the Chartered Bankers Institute, the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, and Women in Banking & Finance.

Liz Hirst

Liz leads our operating model transformation practice with nearly two decades of consulting and in-house experience. She partners with PE-backed businesses and corporate leaders to maximise value creation through strategic transformation and integration.
Liz boasts an unrivalled track record in delivering complex transformations. She works closely with leaders to design and implement future-focused, efficient operating models, ensuring an aligned culture and leadership team that lays the foundation for sustained growth and future performance. Collaborating seamlessly with clients, Liz uncovers hidden value and unlocks optimisation opportunities through restructuring, performance culture initiatives, and comprehensive leadership assessments.
When she’s not driving transformational change, Liz enjoys paddle-boarding, long dog walks, and embracing the great outdoors.
Sarah Jepson-Jones
Highly experienced Organisational Development, Talent & Leadership Expert
Sarah is a highly experienced and dynamic leadership and talent development specialist, with over 20 years in-house and consulting experience supporting people transformation at all levels of an organisation.
As a Chartered Business and Coaching Psychologist, Sarah focuses on engaging and aligning leadership teams at all stages of their development to unlock more effective and efficient ways of working, building future focused mindsets and capabilities and creating holistic talent strategies that drive people value creation.
Sarah is particularly passionate about enhancing Board and Senior Leadership Team effectiveness, leveraging both individual and collective strengths while addressing gaps and areas for growth and enhancing team dynamics to drive performance.
Sarah has extensive client delivery experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, with a specialist focus on transformation and integration in the Insurance sector. As a parent to a child with complex needs, she is also an active advocate of supporting people to find their potential, is a charity mentor and sometimes squeezes in much loved trips to the theatre!
William Critchley

William is a highly commercial organisation transformation leader, who brings over 15 years’ experience driving business-critical change across both consulting and industry. His career has been defined by leading large-scale organisation design and transformation programmes that solve complex workforce challenges and deliver meaningful impact to his clients.
With a strong focus on the Insurance sector, he specialises in organisation design, operating model transformation and change leadership, working in fast-paced, multi-site, international environments. Whether advising C-suite stakeholders or embedding change across diverse teams, he brings a reputation for sound judgement, strategic thinking and the agility to deliver results at pace.
Outside of work, William is passionate about history and enjoys walking in the countryside with his wife and golden retriever. He is also a keen sports fan, attending Leicester Tigers’ matches whenever he can.
James Smith
People-first Business Transformation & Organisational Change Leader
James is a business transformation leader, having built client facing experience across Strategy Consulting, Management Consulting and Advisory Services. He is a specialist in designing, leading, and delivering complex people-first organisational change and business transformation improvement programmes.
James has deep experience in a range of business transformation competencies, including operating model & organisational design, change management, workforce & talent strategy, training, communications, project management, business readiness and stakeholder management.
He has a passion for technology and leads our thinking on how the successful integration of technologies can drive long term people focused outcomes.
Outside of work, James is a big sports fan (especially cricket and football), enjoys travelling the world and spending time with his wife and Roo (their Hungarian Vizsla)

As Operations Manager for WhartonBC Hannah leverages her legal training and professional services experience to drive operational efficiency, enhance governance, and implement robust security strategies. Dr Arif Jafferji

Abigail Dowling

Megan is Professor of Leadership and Dialogue at Ashridge Executive Education, Hult Business School. She is also Founder of Reitz Consulting. As a result of her extensive research and speaking work, Megan is ranked as one of HR Magazine’s Most Influential Thinkers. She is also listed on the Thinkers50 radar of global management thinkers.
Megan specialises in leadership, dialogue, mindfulness, culture, change, coaching and team effectiveness, and she inspires new ways of thinking for leaders and academics alike. John Higgins
